Clint or Brian,I am trying to understand the twisting the sleeves method of adjusting the shirt. When you say twisting the sleeves 20-40 degrees counterclockwise, do you mean counterclockwise from the lifter's perspective or the handlers perspective? Also do you twise the sleeves after the shirt is on or do you twist as you put it on? Thanks.
Hey Charles,
Sorry I didn't catch this sooner-
When I put my RageX on normally, the seam sits below my elbow while holding my arms out with palms down. We twist the sleeves so that the seam sits just on top of the elbow. Then we peel the shirt on.
Lately I have been working in shirts with real tight sleeves and putting the shirt on inside out won't work. In this case I put the shirt on straight up, twist the sleeves same as described above, and finally cuff the sleeves. I find that cuffing the sleeves keeps the seam from slipping back into the "untwisted" state.
Sleeve twisting will always help you get more out of your shirt. It should be used once you feel comfortable touching without the technique and not something that you do right away with a new, tight, shirt.
