I am 19, 6 ft1in, 160Ib. I graduated from high school recently. I did track and field all four years there. I am thinking about going into boxing and the martial arts. Though, for the summer, my main focuse is building a better build or physique. The problem is I don't want to be body building. I prefer to do strength training routines for power, speed, and explosiveness. I want to try NO Explode from GSN for the nitric oxide, but I am not sure if I want the results it promises. ex. The huge veins, and temporary muscle gain. I wish to stay lean and light on my feet. I ask that you please advise on what I should do or lead me to someone who can help with my dilemma.

Thank you for your time.

If you are considering going into boxing, martial arts, MMA then I would seek out some of the experts in those sports and ask them what they think.

You are 19 years old, and I remember being 19. I am now 35 years old. I tried every supplement there was and I believed all the hype from all of them. I can honestly tell you that 99% of the "sports supplements" out there are CRAP. There are a few good ones that guys on this site can probably recommend for you, but for the most part if you want to become a great athlete-in any sport-then you have to first learn the basics of that sport and then practice until you cannot stand it anymore; and then you practice some more!

Once you have the basics in place and you have put in your time, then certain select supplements can make a difference. I am just not a fan of taking sports supplements when a person is as young as you are. I only WISH I would have had that type of guidance when I was growing up!

I hope this helps.

Be well,

Eric

I dont know if NO explode works the best, I tried it before and it did not work for me. But, some supplements work for one person and the same supplement might not work for the same person because of the body's rejection to that supplement. You might want to ask some of the guys on here what works best for them and go off of that. Personally I use Ammunition by Pride Nutrition and it works great, another one that works great for me is Black Powder. But both of those NO's are pretty expensive, Ammo goes for like $60 for 180 tablets and Black Powder is around $30 for 20 servings.

I personally prefer NO products that do not contain large amounts of caffeine. The caffeine seems to blunt the effect of vasodialation for many users.
