Denis was born on February 7, 1970 in Koper, Slovenia. He currently resides in Hrvatini near Koper. He is currently working as Policeman Municipal in Izola. Denis was introduced to competitive bodybuilding by his friend Dusko Madzarovich the owner of California fitness in Koper. He was second on Slovenian open - bodybuilding competition in October 1999. But from 1999 he has also started with Strongman competitions. He was three time winner in his country Slovenia - Strongest Slovenian man. In year 2002 he has started to compete in IFSA federation. And the rest as they say, is history,.................
