"Brenda Michiko Kelly was born in an Army/Navy base in Honolulu, HI. on January 13, 1959. Her mother is full Japanese, and her father is mostly Dutch/English with a touch of American Indian.
She moved with her family to the Seattle area when she was three years old. During her school years Brenda's parents enrolled her into Ballet lessons at an early age of seven. This started a love of music and dance that continued through high school and into Cornish School of Arts College with a BA in Dance. Brenda always gets asked where her great legs and calf tone come from. She will tell you simply, years and years of toe shoes!"
